In Audacity use Tools > Reset Configuration to reset your Audacity configuration: preferences, export settings and toolbars to default settings. To build Audacity yourself, download the source code. It might be that Audacity is not detecting the FFmpeg library. The diagram above shows how Audacity layers additional abstractions on to the base libraries.
